ATTENDANCE PRACTICES Absence/Extracurricular Activity When a student is absent from school, that student is not permitted to participate in or attend any school related activity that may be taking place that day or evening. This would include all activities occurring outside of the normal school week if the absence is on the last day prior to a break (weekend, holiday, etc.). Any exception to this rule must be approved by the principal beforehand. Early Dismissal Any student in grades Pre-K through 12 requesting early dismissal must bring a note from a parent or guardian. Students must be signed out by the adult who is authorized to pick him/her up.
