Grade Point Average: Grade point average is computed by adding quality points and dividing by the number of credits attempted. Interim Midterm Progress Reports to Parents: Midterm progress reports will be published to Parent Portal for parents/guardians at the midpoint of each marking period After publication of the midterm progress reports, parents/guardians will be notified if a student drops more than two letter grades, drops to a D, or is in danger of failing. 13. Make-Up Work Any student absent for reasons coded as lawful or unlawful will have the privilege of making up work for credit. a. The make-up procedure for short-term (five days or less) absence will require the following: i. The student/parent/guardian must request the missed assignments. ii. Teachers are responsible for providing make-up work upon request for students who are lawfully or unlawfully absent. iii. Students will be given the number of days equal to the number of days absent to turn in completed make-up work.
