14 Driving & Parking Parking Permits If you are going to park on campus  YOU MUST HAVE A PARKING PERMIT! At Parkside, we have more drivers than we have parking spaces. Limited parking means there may not be spaces available to accommodate all requests. Parking permits will be sold in the following order: 1st – to all students who must leave school to fulfill a course requirement 2nd – to Seniors 3rd – to all Seniors and Juniors NO PERMITS WILL BE SOLD TO 9TH OR 10TH GRADERS. Failure to follow our parking regulations may result in the loss of your parking privileges and additional disciplinary actions, if warranted. Parking Permits 1. Parking permits must be properly displayed in the designated position. 2. Park only in designated student parking areas. 3. Upon arrival to school, students are to leave their vehicles immediately and wait in the designated areas. 4. Students are not to return to any vehicles during the school day. 5. All school policies apply to students in vehicles on school property and drivers are responsible for the conduct of their passengers. 6. Vehicles are to be locked at all times. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 7. The speed limit is 15 mph or less on school property. 8. Reckless/dangerous driving is prohibited. 9. Failure to observe these regulations, or careless/reckless driving can result in loss of driving privileges on school property and/or referral to legal authorities.
